Mylania & Nate

It was a hot, but beautiful day at Hidden Valley Resort for Mylania and Nate's wedding. I shot this one for Joanne Bartone.

The room Mylania got ready in was pretty dark, so I made good use of the window light and captured this timeless image. She was such a fun bride, she even took a spin on this... uh, what are they called... spinny thing, to get some fun shots. I used to love these as a kid, but I cannot imagine getting on one now, it would make me sick! :)

Poor Nate, I know that he was hot in his tux, but he was such a good sport!

Technical Data

I LOVE my cameras!!! If it were legal, I think I would marry them! I shoot with Canon gear, and cannot say enough good things about my equipment. They perform so well, which allows me to focus on the creative aspect of my photography. I'm posting this because I'm packing my bag for a wedding tomorrow and I just smile whenever I look at my gear... crazy, but true!! I'm also very protective, just ask my family, there are only a few people who are even allowed to touch!

Jackie & Jake

What an awesome day! Jackie and Jake were married at the fabulous Nemacolin Woodlands Resort.
We were a little concerend about the weather, since it had rained the day before, but it turned out to be beautiful and sunny!

Jen Barnett flew in from Minnesota to help me out and we had a great time. Below are a few images from the wedding, the proofs can be viewed at www.hjlphotography.com/jackieandjake

I was in a wedding!

My friend Rachel was married on June 3rd, and I was her matron of honor. Sure was different to be in front of the camera!! I really enjoy experiences like this, I think it helps give me a different perspective... I can completely understand how it feels to be asked to look this way, smile, etc.

Her wedding and reception were both held at Shakespeare's.
I loved the dresses that she chose for us, and the flowers were beautiful as well. I had a great time!
Here is a picture of the entire bridal party in front of the castle doors.

My husband Craig and daughter Ella were in attendance is well... I'm the luckiest person in the world, my family means everything to me.

Seriously, can you tell how much we love this little girl?!?! She is an absolute angel!

My parents took Ella home while Craig and I got to enjoy one another's company, it was so nice to dance with my husband, he is a wonderful man.
